Exam Stories Unfold

by Sue Sudarak

Do you remember when I mentioned that our CSI/PA exams are optional, but highly recommended? LAW’s CAP learning process gives learners (young and old) opportunities to analyze their learning skills, academic progress, personal & professional development. If you are advised to sit for the exam, go for it! Many of you did. Congrats!

Our standardized Summative Assessment conducted by Trinity College London measures not only your exam tasks performance, but also your overall character as a learner. Looking back, your smiles and laughters during the reflection session (right after the exam) said it all.

I knew that we would do well as a team because our mock exam process and peer-coaching approach is the best teaching system I have ever invented.

Now you can see your great potential to learn DIFFICULT stuff!

Some of you had shed tears because of your own ineffective time management that led to frustration. Some of you told me your parents doubted your readiness for the exam and your confidence crumbled at times…

Everyone at LAW knows that switching from school academic learning modes to LAW’s high standard Performance-Based has always been challenging to many Malaysian students. Sadly, some students quit halfway due to the lack of understanding about their own Social-Emotional Learning Skills (SELS) and effective time management.

We had to offer countless of counseling and design our mock exam sessions in a fun, but well-structured for you throughout the exam preparation.

The exam was scheduled for December 2025. By November, everyone suddenly became so relaxed, confident, and excited about the exam. We had just received the exam results this month. As expected, we achieved with merit & distinction marks across the grade 1-8.

We opted for online format for both PA and CSI this year. There were 59 candidates, 5 separate exam sessions conducted by 4 different examiners. To date, I am still amazed by our abilities to model the concepts of ‘commitment and professionalism’. We have made the impossible Possible, haven’t we?

We sailed through all these comfortably, efficiently, and effectively, considering that we had just organized TWO sessions of the 11th Language Arts Festival (LAF) back in September.

Anyway, congratulations everyone for making learning and teaching fun, effective, and relevant all these years.

Stay tuned to our Social-Emotional Learning Skills (SELS) workshops. Coming SOON in March 2026!

Warm wishes,
Sue Sudarak
